Full of people not at all interested or even possibly aware of anyone else. Took a bit to get the naming. Primary roads are streets, secondary are lanes, usually named the same (Flinders Street, then Flinders Lane, then Collins Street, Little Collins, etc).
Laneways filled with cafes, bars, coffee shops, and stores. Most have buskers plying for business.
Very Melbourne, pop-up park. This is a main street (Elizabeth) and the city just put up barriers and shut down southbound traffic for weeks. Astro turf, bright colored padded benches, trees and barista included (coffee isn't free though).
Side laneway club. This bar is two shipping containers with a chainlink fence around and crates and pallets for furniture. Normally packed, but I was there early (9pm) on a Thursday.
Trams trams everywhere. Anyone not looking at their phone?
