So there's this really old, really big castle in France. Someone decided that it wasn't cool enough, so they hired an artist to make it more modern. I read the explanation in English and still didn't get the point of the concentric circles painted on this ancient structure.

Cell phone got wet, so these pictures are copies from text messages, and lower quality.

Main fortress had a guided tour, in French or English. I didn't bother. Did read the sign that said the outside battlements were off limits, but with no barriers and no attendants, climbed up anyway, just like everyone else.

Castle dominates the view from anywhere in town.
